  1. I learned to cook eggs because my dad, technically stepdad but he’d been my dad since I was 1, wasn’t very good at it, but he kept trying. I love my dad.

  2. That’s so sweet, my father cut my steaks till I was 12…. I cut meat like I have a chainsaw with a bad chain…. Thanks Dad

  3. My own father didn’t stick around long, but there were men in my life who left a fatherly impact on my soul. Most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed; Fathers are so important and I will ALWAYS honor the men who step up and love children ❤️

  4. to be honest, i still hate peeling oranges. their skin is too thick and it cuts into my short nails, and that hurts.

  5. Growing up my stepdad used to draw on my lunch bags. It was really cool but i didn’t think too much of then. Now I look back on it thinking how cool it really was and miss those days.

  6. my dad made me lunch almost every day for school growing up. Even until the last day of HS. I’ll always be appreciative of that.

  7. Fuck, I’m in my mid 30s and this still made me bawl and wish I had this kind of father/daughter relationship

  8. I asked a peeled orange to my mom, she gave me a knife and said I was big enough to do it by myself, I was 5
