Analysis: Poland's PiS party still popular at home, for now



In Poland, the re-election of President Andrzej Duda is crucial if the ruling nationalist Law and Justice (PiS) party is to implement further its socially conservative agenda, including judiciary reforms the EU says contravene democratic standards.

As correspondent Gulliver Cragg explains, the PiS party is popular for having governed through a period of relative prosperity in the country, though this may change with a recession looming due to coronavirus.
